The Black Communities Conference Collaboration Continues

Across a dynamic, informative, and collaborative three days, Black Communities: A Conference for Collaboration took place in downtown Durham from April 23-25!  With close to 600 attendees sharing their knowledge of Black communities and exploring potential research partnerships, the event convened participants from communities, organizations and universities from across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.

You can hear an interview with the conference co-chairs, Karla Slocum and Mark Little, on WUNC Radio’s The State of Things, or watch the conference opening plenary session, hosted by Deborah Hold Noel of UNC’s Black Issues Forum.
